Memorials
There are many ways in which a loved one can be remembered.
The North East Surrey Crematorium has a selection of suitable memorials and forms of commemoration. Below is a brief description of each of the options available. Please see our Price List PDF (86Kb) and list of order forms for further details. No other memorial items may be placed in or around the crematorium.
Garden of Remembrance
The garden of remembrance is situated close by the crematorium. The cloister walkway leads to the garden where visitors may rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Commemorative items such as plaques and tablets, dedicated plots and rose bushes are set out in our garden of remembrance.

Rose
Tree
The beauty of the garden of remembrance is enhanced by an abundance of rose bushes and trees planted there. The dedication of a rose tree has always been a popular choice for remembering a loved one and there are a range of different memorial plaques available. -
Rockery
plaques
Rockery plaques are a traditional form of memorial. Dedications are made for an initial period of five years and may be renewed. -
Westmorland
Slate Tablets
Westmorland Slate Tablets have now been extended in the cloister walkway allowing both single and double slates to be mounted on the wall.

Cremated
Remains Plots
Plots are available for the interment of the ashes of up to four people. A red or grey granite memorial stone with an integral vase for cut flowers is also included. The plots are located in the garden of remembrance and are dedicated for an initial period of ten years, but this may be extended if required.- Memorial
Seats
Subject to availability a memorial seat with inscribed plaque may be placed within the grounds of the garden. Dedication is for an initial period of ten years, but this may be extended if required. - Cremated
Remains Graves
For the interment of cremated remains, includes the Right of Burial for 40 years and the 1st interment £1260.00, £0.00, £1260.00
Subsequent interments £285.00, £0.00, £ 285.00. - Kerb
Memorial Vases
Situated adjacent to the pathways, Kerb Memorial Vases are available for the interment of ashes. Dedication is for an initial period of seven years, but this may be extended if required.
